Mentorship:
Kat offers a ONE-on-ONE mentorship program for new Makeup Artists who are ready to pursue this career seriously. Once a new makeup artist completes the mentorship program then they are included on Kat's list to refer assignments to as well as hire assistants from. Even though not all of Kat's clients require the license, some do. Therefore, due to Kat's busy schedule and limited time availability for training new assistants she must reserve the mentorship program and job referrals for those makeup artists who are either licensed or at least enrolled in an Esthetician Program or a Cosmetology Program with at least 300 clock hours towards becoming licensed. Mentorship Program is available on weekdays (Monday-Friday) depending on availability. Click here to view Kat's schedule and remaining available dates.
Please bring your license (or progress report showing completed number of hours if still in school) to your appointment. Without the license (or progress report) your mentorship program is cancelled and your deposit forfeited. Reserve your ONE FULL DAY (10am-4pm) by paying $95 deposit using the "add to cart" button below or if booked more than 30 days out you can mail a check for the $95 deposit or pay the $495 in full to: Kat Flynt, P.O. Box 276; Dacula, GA 30019.
Your remaining balance will be due in cash on the morning of your appointment; checks are not accepted (unless 30 days prior to appointment). Receipts will be given for cash payments for your tax purposes.
Kat chooses her Interns and Assistants from those who have completed her full day "Makeup Artist Mentorship Program". Also, all makeup artists who complete Kat's full day mentorship program will be added to the new "Makeup Artists of Atlanta" Web Site / List which is the list that Kat uses to refer paying clients to when she is unable to accept an assignment. Click Here for printable PDF form "Makeup Artist Mentorship Program".
Mentorship Program $495: You must read the prerequisite requirements above prior to making payment. Payments are non-refundable. By making payment - you are stating that you have read these requirements in full and completely understand.

Less than 72 hour notice canceling a Mentorship Day will require a cancellation fee of $95. For paid in full appointments - the cancellation fee is deducted and remaining credit is transferable to a later date within 90 days of original appointment.
I spent a full day taking Kat's mentorship program in August 2007. Less than two weeks later I had received two referrals from Kat for assignments she was too busy to take (Coca-Cola for video executive interviews; and short film "The Incredible Happenings of Avery Goodman") from which I made more than the amount I had spent on the mentorship program!!

I spent a day with Kat in March 2007 and immediately began receiving job leads. Then in June 2007, Kat hired me as her assistant on the McDonald's 2 day assignment and paid me $400 for that one job alone.
